EXCELLENT PROGRESS BEING MADE ON VESSELS

Anderson Marine is pleased to announce that it is now back in full production of all sizes of vessels after the fire last July that completely destroyed our main production facility.

A temporary lease has been agreed and secured on a large shed facility elsewhere in Peterhead that will allow us to drive forward with production of our larger vessels. The smaller vessels are being completed in our second boat shed at Kirk Square that was unaffected by the blaze (see our News page for the latest vessel just completed for a customer in Holland).

Our bigger vessels including the Cygnus SF36 and two Gemini catamarans are now well underway and everyone is working hard to keep the excellent momentum we have had recently going.

Anderson Marine LLP is now well established as a boat building business in Peterhead, Scotland for the manufacture of Cygnus and Kingfisher GRP hulls and for the quality of its fitting out services.

The company supplies high-quality Cygnus and Kingfisher GRP fibreglass hulls in kit form or through its skilled fabrication department can provide in-shore fishermen with completed sail away boats.

The company owners have worked with the fishing sector for many years and are innovative in their boat design services to give crab, lobster and prawn fishermen options for in-shore vessels beyond the standard Cygnus GM33, SF33, SF38 and GM40 models. Adaptability can also be provided for the range of Kingfisher K20, K24, K26 and K33 models. All boats are displacement hulls excellent for stability and safety at sea and all are built and certified to Seafish standards in the UK.

Customers can have these in kit form or as completed vessels or work with our design team to develop innovative new products such as the Cygnus SF36 model.

Anderson Marine has its own marine carpenters and an in-house fabrication department for stainless steel and aluminium work. The boatyard has just undergone extensive investment in new facilities so that production throughput and capacity is available in a modern quality working environment.
